Information about service accessibility

In accordance with Act No. 424/2023 Coll., on the accessibility of certain products and services, the operator publishes information about the accessibility of services provided through the website www.studentagency.eu/en.

1. Evaluation of service compliance with accessibility requirements

The service provided through the websitewww.studentagency.eu/en is not fully compliant with the requirements of Act No. 424/2023 Coll. The following shortcomings have been identified:

  • Text alternatives for non-text elements – Not met. Alt texts for icons/images are ready for QA (new website), but it is necessary to manually go through all images in Strapi and add appropriate texts. The old website (pricer, pax) lacks alt texts.
  • Keyboard accessibility – Not fulfilled. The main search form on the HP cannot be fully controlled via the keyboard. The chronology of elements is not always correct.
  • Contrast ratio of text and background – Partially compliant. Some elements (e.g. mosaic on the phone, banners) have insufficient contrast.
  • Enlarging content without losing functionality – Compliant. The website is responsive. • Compatibility with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) – Not yet tested, status unknown.
  • Navigation structure and headings – Compliant. The hierarchy of headings and navigation elements is correct.
  • Comprehensible error messages and help – Compliant. Error messages are displayed and are generally comprehensible.
  • Consistent appearance and controls – Partially compliant. Differences between the old and new websites, inconsistent use of buttons and component layout. 
  • Information on session validity and form data – Partially fulfilled. A notification exists, but the session does not always work correctly - after confirming the notification, it may expire automatically..
  • The described shortcomings represent a deviation from the requirements set out in Section 3 Annex No. 1 of Act No. 424/2023 Coll.

2. Reasons for partial non-compliance and plan for remediation

  • The website is undergoing gradual modernization; some of the content is operated on older technology, some on a new system.
  • The new website already partially addresses accessibility (e.g., alt texts, responsiveness), but there are still shortcomings in keyboard operability and contrast.
  • Improvements to accessibility are included in the roadmap and will be addressed upon completion of the migration of the old website to the new technology.

3. Description of the service and how it works The studentagency.eu/en service provides the following options:

  • search for flights by destination, date, and other parameters,
  • display price offers from multiple airlines,
  • online booking and purchase of tickets,
  • reservation management and access to additional services.
